Troubleshooting
When iPhone or iPad can't find the Mac or no picture arrives.
iPhone or iPad can’t find the Mac
- Are both on the same network? Guest Wi-Fi often blocks connections between devices.
- Allow Local Network – on iPhone under Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, on the Mac under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
- If the Mac firewall asks about incoming connections, choose Allow.
- If automatic discovery doesn’t work, enter the Mac’s IP address by hand. You’ll find it in the sender under Info.
Menu bar shows “Kein Signal” (no signal)
- There’s no picture at the capture card’s input. Check the mixer output and cable. The sender retries by itself every few seconds.
No camera access
- Allow Multiview Live Sender under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
Picture stutters
- See Best quality and latency: Mac on cable, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, quality Komprimiert (WLAN).
Stream stops during the show
- If the Mac goes to sleep, the stream stops. Turn off sleep for the duration of the show.
