Timer since last cut
Shows how long ago the last camera change was – so no shot stays up too long.
- Turn on Settings → General → Timer since last cut.
- In the timer settings, under MONITORED BUTTONS, choose your cameras’ program buttons (at least two).
Block switching too fast
In Blockout buttons mode, camera changes are blocked for a few seconds after each cut (Blockout time (seconds), default 5). A blocked click isn’t lost – it’s sent as soon as the blockout ends.
Overlays in the multiview
In the View menu:
- Safe Area Guides – dashed action-safe and title-safe frames in every field.
- Clock in Multiview – the time at the top right, like a vision mixer multiview.
Status bar
The bottom of the main window shows the video source, Companion, ProPresenter, tally, a running recording and the time. Click it to open Settings.
Adjust the view
- ⌥⌘K hides the Companion buttons.
- ⌃⌘F switches to full screen.
- View → Settings Follow System Appearance – the Settings window follows macOS light or dark mode.
Launch automatically
Open at Login in the app menu starts Multiview Live when you log in to your Mac – handy for a fixed control-room setup.
