Set up the multiview

Give each multiview field a Companion button so a click switches that camera.

For a click on a camera to switch it, the app needs to know which Companion button belongs to which field.

1. Check the format

Under Choose Multiview Format, tell the app how your mixer arranges its multiview. On an ATEM this is usually 2+8: preview and program on top, eight cameras below.

2. Assign buttons

  1. Click Set up multiview at the top or press ⌘E.
  2. Click a field. A bubble opens with Field name, Program button and Preview button.
  3. Click a button slot and pick the right button in Choose Companion button. You see your real Companion buttons live, with colours and text.
  4. Repeat for all cameras and finish with Finish setup.

Quicker: right-click a field → Edit This Window…

Tip: If your camera buttons are on page 1, row 1 (CUT) and row 2 (preview), just use Settings → Workflow → Load default mapping …

Enter a button by hand

Use the search in the button picker to find buttons by name. Enter manually (+/−) lets you set page, row and column directly – this works without the live view too.

Show one field full size

Right-click a field → Show Full Size. Press Esc to go back.

Next: Switching and keyboard.
